Take the R102 to Hibberdene. We are 7km North of Port Shepstone in Southport on your left. Please follow Dieu-Donneé sign posts.

From the Southern Drakensberg:-

Take the Ixopo/Umzinto Road to N2 South. Take Hibberdene turn-off and continue for 20km. We are on the right, in Southport. Please follow Dieu-Donneé sign posts.

Temperature's and Seasons

Summer
Over much of fascinating KZN South Coast, summer (mid October to mid March), is characterised by windy and hot humid weather, often with heavy down pours, leaving a warm, uniquely tropical forest smell in the air. This is the most popular time for holidaying on the South Coast, but the unpredictable weather can influence your daily outdoor holiday plans in a big way. But with three shopping centres and our bustling commercial centre with its distinctive lighthouse makes Port Shepstone shoppers delight and fulfills the ultimate shop-a-holics desire. Temperature varies between 22 and 32 degrees Celsius. Sunrise on the 21st of December at 4:55 and sunset at 19:20.

Autumn

Autumn on the KZN South coast is from mid March to May. The temperature varies between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. This is the best time to plan your holiday or fishing trip. For autumn offers in most ways the best weather with very little rain falls and virtually no wind. With long stretches of clean uncrowded beaches, rocky coves, sand and sea, it is perfect for long strolls and lazy days to soak up the autumn sun.

Winter

Winter on the KZN South Coast runs from June to mid August. Mornings are crispy cool with night temperature seldom lower than 12 degrees Celsius. Pleasant sunny days with virtually no wind or rain offers fantastic warmish days with temperatures up to 24 degrees Celsius. Most nights you will be swept away by the clear starlit skies, the stress-free environment and where you will experience nothing but peace and tranquillity. And then.... there is the Sardine Run! Between June and July every winter, crowds of frenzied human predators converge on the area to join sharks, game fish, marine mammals and Cape Gannets in a feeding orgy. A truly phenomenal site to be hold.

Spring
Spring from mid August to mid October, our sleepy ever green coastal forest suddenly comes alive with vibrant natural splendour. Still on the cool side for locals the temperature varies from 15 to 25 degrees Celsius. This is also a windy time of the year, but excellent to visit and explore a diversity of attractions and activities which will make this destination an unforgettable experience

The discreetly situated conference room is the perfect venue for "getting down to business" undisturbed. It is ideal for small gatherings and weddings with an elegant relaxed ambience.
